We’ve rounded up some of London’s most exciting shopping locations. Whether you’re into luxury or sustainable fashion, London’s high streets have something for everyone. The city’s multitude of shops and markets are ideal for those passionate about style and building the perfect wardrobe.

Oxford Street

An iconic shopping location for over a century, Oxford Street is home to over 300 stores including globally renowned fashion brands. For luxury fashion finds, head towards the legendary department store Selfridges. Stocking over 300 brands across 9 floors, it offers a luxurious shopping experience. Not only do they stock latest designer bags and fashion, but you can also find unique services such as ear piercing and personal shopping.

Popular fashion stores you will also find on the famed street include ZARA, Urban Outfitters, Nike, BERSHKA, John Lewis, AllSaints, M&S and more.

Portobello Market

Situated in the vibrant Notting Hill, Portobello Market is notable for some of the UK’s best traders whom sell vintage clothing, jewellery and antiques – ideal for passionate thrifters searching for rare and unique pieces. There’s also an array of vintage stores, handmade crafts and delicious street food. Some of our favourite stores include Rellik – a celeb favourite that stocks brands such as Vivienne Westwood and Comme des garçons, and Karen Vintage – the ideal place to find vintage occasion dresses.

Covent Garden

A luxury shopping destination since 1632, Convent garden is a well-loved tourist hotspot with both global and independent brands in its architectural arcades. Some of our favourites include Mulberry, & Other Stories, Birkenstock, Polo Ralph Lauren and REISS. Head down to Neal’s Yard and wander through the brightly-coloured buildings for al fresco dining and handmade pizzas at Homeslice.

Brick Lane

A great option for those who love thrifting, Brick Lane is one of London’s most famous areas for vintage finds. Located in the East End of London, it offers an abundance of vintage stores with its most iconic location – Brick Lane Vintage Market – bursting with traders selling unique pieces such as Burberry trench coats, re-worked Nike sweatshirts, Levi’s jeans and fun jewellery.

Coal Drops Yard

Under a 10 minute walk from Kings Cross Station, Coal Drops Yard is home to over 50 stores including fashion, beauty and food. The two-story shopping complex is built with stunning bricks and arches that give the location a unique look. Stores include French label A.P.C., Australian skincare brand Aesop and British brand COS.

A great place for gift shopping in the festive season, the area is perfect to visit in December when you can see its stunning lights and 46-foot traditional Christmas tree.
